The purpose of
this page is to centralize all the information about my original design
and 100% unique Bottlebrush Parrot Play Gyms.
 Isn't
this what you and your bird want?
The basic
concept I use when designing and building my gyms is the idea of the
FAVORITE PLACE. You and I have favorite places. When you watch
TV or read, do you sit in the same chair every night? Do you sleep
on the same side of your bed every night. Those are your favorite
places. Why sit over there when I like it here! Well, parrots are
creatures of habit like we are. If they have a favorite place, they
will stay here because they LIKE it here, and my Play Gyms are designed to
be that favorite place. And, it works for one main reason.
Now to my Play
Gyms. I
call these floor gyms. I offer 4 tray sizes designed to
provide your parrot with a FAVORITE PLACE.
Update.
Over the years, I've never been satisfied with the pedestals used between
the trays. I've used everything from basic Landscape Timbers to hand
turned, hand finished wooden pedestals. I think I've finally found
the right solution.
  Effective
immediately, all gyms sold thru The Golden Cockatoo will come equipped
with these pedestals. The center is solid wood for stability, and
there's a white PVC sleeve that covers that. They look great as they
are, or spray painted or even covered with Contact paper, etc. I
think you'll agree that I've finally found the solution I've been looking
for.
I offer my gyms
is several different Formica colors.
PLEASE, don't get hung up on tray color. My gyms are for your bird,
and I use high gloss Formica so it's easy for YOU to clean. That
being said, my gyms are also a beautiful piece of parrot furniture and
designed to be a free standing piece of parrot furniture/art.

gym for Macaws.
Buy
the Large gym for Macaws for all full sized Macaws.
   The
Large gym for Macaws has trays that measure approx
21"X34". These gyms provide lots of USABLE perch
space for your Macaw. The design also allows your Macaw to
climb and play without damaging their beautiful tails. These are
substantially stable gyms even for the largest, most active
Macaws. And, the Bottlebrush branch assembly is comfortable to
stand on, great for chewing and gnawing, and after several years of
daily use, can be replaced. These are literally the last gym
you will ever buy.
